Main objective of this course is the introduction to the fundamental concepts and methods of Biostatistics/Bioinformatics and their main applications. Special focus is on real-world use cases and student familiarization with modern statistical software systems. After the successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand complex statistical analyses of recent medical research and to prepare and perform their own analyses.
